4th of July Fun Gift!

This one is a little blast from the past from an awesomely crafty coworker!  It's coasters paper crafted together to make a container for some Independence Day fun.  Inside was a gift of sparklers, bubbles, squirt gun and colorful candies.  It was a nice surprise to come into work and find this on my desk before the holiday weekend.

I'm not a paper crafter so not the best to describe the fun project...  basically there's 4 coasters to make walls of a box which were punched and tied with ribbon and 1 more coaster was glued in place on the bottom.  Fun stars and firework papers were attached around the sides.  I wish I would have taken a pic of the inside as it was MGD coasters (visible on bottom pic)!

I've saved these photos to ponder what can I do to recycle coasters in a similar way.  Knowing me I'd want the beer side out which makes it not so appropriate for a work gift!...
